I spent thirteen years working in the independent radio sector in Ireland, starting with Cork's 96FM and C103 where I worked as On Air Promotions Exec, Newsreader and Occasional Voiceover, before moving on to Broadcast Media Sales, later renamed UTV Radio Solutions, where I worked with seven of Ireland's leading radio stations - Beat 102-103, Cork's 96FM and C103, Dublin's Q102, FM104, Galway Bay FM, Limerick's Live 95FM and LMFM and also U105 in Belfast. I worked in creating fun and effective content in the shape of competitions and sponsorship concepts with both on air and sales teams in each individual station. I also dealt extensively with creative agencies and PR companies.
In short, I know what goes into getting something from idea to air, how to work with clients and station staff alike, and how effective the medium of radio is.
